Day 2

Good afternoon,

Had a dear friend over for tea yesterday. She brought her kids so our kids could hang out. It was just a time to unwind and enjoy one another and speak of God's faithfulness in our lives. We talked about how God is using this time of lean-ness in our lives to bring us closer to him.

We are both struggling financially and told each other with a smile that we both probably prayed a prayer that lead God to take us down this path. I remember specifically when my husband was working more steadily that I prayed that God would help us to manage our finances better. It seemed that just as soon as the funds would come in, that they would slip through our fingers and we didn't seem to be able to account for them.

Now, everything is well accounted for and purchases, even for little things are much appreciated. Even my children, who are teens have gone through dramatic changes in their appreciation for gifts and even monies that my husband and I give them. Don't get me wrong, they are still teens and will try to finagle things, but all in all, I have to say that God is teaching them just as much as he is teaching my husband and I.

I am truly thankful that the Christmas season is coming to a close. I am sensing a new beginning with 2010 right around the corner. I wish for all my readers a healthy, peaceful, New Year. May God lead you in the direction of trusting him more and more.

So excited!!!!!

Hello all,

I am so excited to be writing for you. I am so excited to be able to find a place and a people who can hear my heart about trusting in God. I am talking about God the Father of Jesus Christ who bore the sins for all mankind!!!

I want this site to maintain in that in all I write that God is sovereign and I can always trust in him!!!

I will write and share my heart with both the good and the bad. You will hear the pain in my heart, but in the end, you will see how God has poured out his love and mercy continually in my life. May he be glorified!!!!

Signing off for now and...........
